Our Principles

  • Our aim is for Insight4MDs™ to be an oasis for doctors in private practice to openly discuss new clinical trial results and how these affect their private practices and patients.

  • Only MDs or DOs practicing in the US may register.

  • We stick to the raw facts.

  • We tell you what the strengths and weaknesses of each trial are from your perspective: Private Clinical Practice.

  • We maintain strong independence.

How Insight4MDs™ Works

  • We do all your digging thus saving you precious time.

  • We assess each trial based on what is publicly available: Be it peer-reviewed journals, FDA’s clinical trial databases, FDA’s and the EU’s equivalent of the summary bases of approval for drugs, FDA Advisory Panel minutes or Pharma Association’s clinical trial databases.

  • Many of these rich data sources never reach clinicians because they are hard to find, poorly organized and weekly summarized.

  • We distill the facts into a brief standardized, easy to read and navigatable format.

  • After registering, just click on the drug(s), device(s) or sponsoring drug company(ies) on the Medical Doctors’ Homepage and review the associated trial summaries.

  • After reading a trial summary, doctors are invited to post their comments or respond to those from other doctors.

Current Status

  • Insight4MDs™ is currently in beta testing and focused on the results of new drug trials in type 2 diabetes.More results are coming every week so come back often!

About Us

  • Insight4MDs™ was founded and is managed by Dr. Christopher Viereck. His unique perspective, expertise and industry networks are based on 20 years leadership and operational experience in Drug Development and Commercial environments in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Merck, Sanofi-Aventis and Bayer-Schering AG) and include a new Elsevier publication on clinical trial results. Dr. Viereck brings in physicians from around the country, who keep the medical content of Insight4MDs™ succinct, relevant and transparent.

  • Dr. Nick Sartor is the site’s Chief Medical Consultant. He holds an MD from the University of Michigan, is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and is a co-founder of the Carrboro Pediatrics and Internal Medicine Practice in suburban Chapel Hill, NC.
